Zack Bornstein is an EMMY-losing and WGA AWARD-winning writer from SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (NBC); PEABODY AWARD winner for “Political Satire”; writer for SHRINKING (Apple); director from JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE (ABC); writer & voice actor for STRANGE PLANET (Apple); co-writer of FUN SUCKERS with APATOW (Dreamworks); and contributor for THE NEW YORKER.

He’s currently developing series and films with HULU, NETFLIX, OSCAR-NOMINEE BRYAN TYREE HENRY, NBA HALL OF FAMER CARMELO ANTHONY, & more.

Zack has also written, produced, & directed for BOOK OF BEASTS (Netflix), THE GOOD COP (Netflix), ALTERNATINO (Comedy Central), RED NOSE DAY (NBC), LITTLE LATE WITH LILLY SINGH (NBC), GAME ON (CBS), MICHELLE OBAMA, & more.

He co-created and executive produced MY LEAST FAVORITE THING (Comedy Central), B.F.F. (Nickelodeon), & THE ME & YOU SHOW (Snap).

Zack grew up in SEATTLE, the son of a special ed teacher and a community mental health doctor. He studied Neuroscience at Brown U. When he told his mom he got his dream job at SNL, she said, “Oh that’s wonderful, I heard Mt. Sinai medical school likes admitting writers.”

New Zealand gossip tabloid Women’s Day once reported that he was dating EMMA STONE, which was flattering, but later issued a “corrections,” which was DEVASTATING.
